Bio

Donna Reiners is a Houston photographer who specializes mostly in close up photography of individuals and animals. She figures if she ever gets to where her eyesight "ain't what it used to be" she'll want to remember faces - not clothes! She also loves to express the beauty of the earth through shooting landscapes. Even so, she has the most fun photographing events or capturing families and friends together in their celebration of life.

Her style moves toward the relaxed and natural with an edge sometimes bordering on the "different". Donna likes to meet with customers before their time together so they can get to know one another and better understand their needs before they venture out to the photo shoot. They want whatever they do to reflect the client's distinct character.

I try to convey "feelings" and evoke "emotions" in my compositions and actions of the subjects - be they the creatures of nature or the humans that are in front of the lens. I strive to let natural, ambient light bring out the beauty in my photos rather than using a studio.

Donna's husband, Craig is a Photoshop expert and he works to create a final product their clients will be pleased with. Photography is a way for them to demonstrate their passion for people, their admiration of God's creation and their appreciation for life!

The Reiners are new-comers to Houston Camera Exchange but they intend to be around for a long, long time. They reside in Katy, Texas and have two children, Chelsea and Chase.
